The Cathedral boys cross country team finished fourth at the TAPPS Class 6A state cross country meet on Monday at the Cottonwood Creek Golf Course in Waco.

The Fighting Irish scored 148 points behind state champion San Antonio Central Catholic, San Antonio Antonian College Preparatory, and Houston's St. Thomas. Overall, 13 teams competed at the state meet.
